Global Welding Supplies’s refund or exchange policy.
At Global Welding Supplies, we’re happy to help customers who wish to return or exchange goods purchased from our online store or through one of our field sales team.
If you purchased an item from Global Welding Supplies’s online store, linked social media sales avenues or directly from a field sales representative and the product is not of acceptable quality, faulty or doesn’t match the description, you can return it.
Just contact Global Welding directly or the associate account manager with proof of purchase and we’ll repair, exchange (in line with the product manufacturers Australian warranty policy) or give you a refund for your purchase using your original payment method.
Refunds for non-defective products are at the sole discretion of Global Welding Supplies, Please see "Satisfaction Guarantee".
We do not allow returns or exchanges on gift cards or e-Gift Cards purchased for use at our online store.
Our policy provides you with additional benefits to those under Australian Consumer Law.
Satisfaction Guarantee:
We offer a refund or exchange if you change your mind within 14 days of purchase or delivery. Items must be in their original packaging and in new condition suitable for resale. Manuals, packaging and accessories must accompany all products. software must be contained within the security seal.
If you can present proof of purchase, we’ll give you a refund using your original payment method.
If you can’t present proof that the goods were purchased from Global Welding Supplies, we won’t be able to give you a refund or exchange. If you have proof of purchase but it is outside the 14 days of purchase or delivery, we can give you an exchange credit at the current price of that product. We do not allow returns or exchanges on gift cards or e-Gift Card purchases.
All refund rights under both State and Commonwealth law apply.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. If the failure is minor, we reserve our right to offer to repair only. We reserve the right to not offer a refund or an exchange credit.
Returned by Customer - It is a requirement that you contact Global Welding Supplies or a representative before returning any products, you can contact Global Welding Supplies directly at salestownsville@globalweld.com.au or through the contact form at www.globalweld.com.au
Return Address - Any products being returned under our Refund & Exchange policy via post will need to be returned to Global Welding Supplies Headquarters (32 Leyland Street, Garbutt,Townsville QLD 4814. Australia), on receipt of the returned shipment, a confirmation of receipt email will be sent to you.
Delivery Returns:
Wrong Address - If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you.
Unclaimed – Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to our facility and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment to yourself or your end customer.
